श्री बजरंग बाण अवधी भाषा की एक अत्यंत तीव्र एवं प्रभावी प्रार्थना है। हनुमान चालीसा जहाँ एक ओर सहज स्तुति है, वहीं बजरंग बाण में भक्त आर्त भाव से श्री राम जी की दुहाई देकर हनुमान जी से संकट हरने का आग्रह करता है। इसमें तांत्रिक बीज मंत्र (जैसे ॐ ह्रीं ह्रीं ह्रीं, ॐ हुं हुं हुं, ॐ चं चं चं) का समावेश है, जो इसे दिव्य सकारात्मक ऊर्जा से युक्त बनाते हैं।
निश्चय प्रेम प्रतीति ते, विनय करैं सनमान। तेहि के कारज सकल शुभ, सिद्ध करैं हनुमान॥
Nishchaya prema prateeti te, binaya karai sanmaan. Tehi ke kaaraja sakala shubha, siddha karai Hanumaan.
Whoever approaches Lord Hanuman with steadfast love, unshakeable trust, humility, and honor, Hanuman fulfills all their auspicious undertakings with success.
जय हनुमंत संत हितकारी। सुनि लीजै प्रभु अरज हमारी॥
Jaya Hanumanta santa hitakaaree. Suni leejai prabhu araja hamaaree.
Victory to Lord Hanuman, the beloved protector and benefactor of holy souls. O Lord, please hear our earnest and humble prayer.
जन के काज बिलंब न कीजै। आतुर दौरि महा सुख दीजै॥
Jana ke kaaja bilamba na keejai. Aatura dauri mahaa sukha deejai.
Do not delay in attending to the affairs of your devotee. Rush forward with haste and grant sublime relief and joy.
जैसे कूदि सिंधु महिपारा। सुरसा बदन पैठि बिस्तारा॥
Jaise koodi sindhu mahipaaraa. Surasaa badana paithi bistaaraa.
Just as you leaped boundlessly across the great ocean, and skillfully entered and expanded out of the mouth of Surasa.
आगे जाइ लंकिनी रोका। मारेहु लात गई सुर लोका॥
Aage jaai Lankinee rokaa. Maarehu laata gaee sura lokaa.
Proceeding ahead when the demoness Lankini tried to stop you, with a single blow you sent her reeling towards the heavenly realm.
जाय बिभीषन को सुख दीन्हा। सीता निरखि परमपद लीन्हा॥
Jaaya Bibheeshana ko sukha deenhaa. Seetaa nirakhi paramapada leenhaa.
You visited Vibhishana and filled his heart with peace and joy; and beholding Mother Sita, you attained the supreme station of devotion.
बाग उजारि सिंधु महँ बोरा। अति आतुर जमकातर तोरा॥
Baaga ujaari sindhu maha boran. Ati aatura jamakaatara toraa.
You uprooted the royal Ashoka garden, cast fear into the waves, and boldly broke the noose of mortality.
अक्षय कुमार मारि संहारा। लूम लपेटि लंक को जारा॥
Akshaya kumaara maari sanhaaraa. Looma lapeti lanka ko jaaraa.
You struck down and neutralized prince Akshaya Kumar, and binding fire upon your tail, set the golden city of Lanka ablaze.
लाह समान लंक जरि गई। जय जय धुनि सुरपुर महँ भई॥
Laaha samaana lanka jari gaee. Jaya jaya dhuni surapura maha bhaee.
Lanka burned swiftly like lacquer; and cries of victory resonated throughout the celestial heavens.
अब बिलंब जेहि कारन स्वामी। कृपा करहु उर अंतरयामी॥
Aba bilamba jehi kaarana svaamee. Kripaa karahu ura antarayaamee.
O all-knowing Lord who resides in every heart, what cause remains for any delay? Please shower your divine mercy now.
जय जय लखन प्रान के दाता। आतुर होइ दुख हरहु निपाता॥
Jaya jaya Lakhana praana ke daataa. Aatura hoi dukha harahu nipaataa.
Victory to you who saved the life of Lakshmana! Come swiftly and eradicate all affliction and grief.
जै गिरिधर जै जै सुख सागर। सुर समूह समरथ भटनागर॥
Jai giridhara jai jai sukha saagara. Sura samooha samaratha bhatanaagara.
Victory to the lifter of the Sanjeevani mountain, the supreme ocean of peace, the valiant warrior chief among the divine hosts.
ॐ हनु हनु हनु हनुमंत हठीले। बैरिहि मारु बज्र की कीले॥
Om hanu hanu hanu Hanumanta hatheele. Bairihi maaru bajra kee keele.
Om! Strike, strike, O resolute Hanuman! Pierce and conquer negative energies with your vajra-like power.
गदा बज्र लै बैरिहिं मारो। महाराज प्रभु दास उबारो॥
Gadaa bajra lai bairihi maaro. Mahaaraaja prabhu daasa ubaaro.
Wielding your mace and thunderbolt, crush adversity and liberate your devoted servant, O Sovereign Lord.
ॐकार हुंकार महाप्रभु धावो। बज्र गदा हनुमंत गदावो॥
Omkaara humkaara mahaaprabhu dhaavo. Bajra gadaa Hanumanta gadaavo.
With the sacred Omkara and heroic battle roar, rush forth, O Hanuman, swinging your mighty celestial mace.
ॐ ह्रीं ह्रीं ह्रीं हनुमंत कपीसा। ॐ हुं हुं हुं हनु अरि उर सीसा॥
Om hreem hreem hreem Hanumanta kapeesaa. Om hum hum hum hanu ari ura seesaa.
Om Hreem Hreem Hreem, Lord of all monkeys! Om Hum Hum Hum, strike at the heart and pride of evil forces.
सत्य होहु हरि शपथ पायके। राम दूत धरु मारु धायके॥
Satya hohu Hari shapatha paayake. Raama doota dharu maaru dhaayake.
Invoking the sacred oath of Lord Hari, as the royal messenger of Rama, run swiftly and dispel all darkness.
जय जय जय हनुमंत अगाधा। दुख पावत जन केहि अपराधा॥
Jaya jaya jaya Hanumanta agaadhaa. Dukha paavata jana kehi aparaadhaa.
Victory, victory, victory to boundless Hanuman! For what fault does your humble devotee still suffer distress?
पूजा जप तप नेम अचारा। नहिं जानत कछु दास तुम्हारा॥
Poojaa japa tapa nema achaaraa. Nahin jaanata kachhu daasa tumhaaraa.
Ritual worship, ascetic penance, strict vows, and ceremonies—your humble servant knows none of these complex rites.
बन उपबन मग गिरि गृह माहीं। तुम्हरे बल हम डरपत नाहीं॥
Bana upabana maga giri griha maaheen. Tumhare bala hama darapata naaheen.
In wild forests, groves, treacherous paths, high mountains, or inside home—by your invincible strength, we fear nothing.
जनकसुता हरि दास कहावो। ताकी शपथ बिलंब न लावो॥
Janakasutaa Hari daasa kahaavo. Taakee shapatha bilamba na laavo.
You are proclaimed the beloved servant of Sita and Rama; bound by that divine bond, do not delay any longer.
जय जय जय धुनि होत अकासा। सुमिरत होत दुसह दुख नासा॥
Jaya jaya jaya dhuni hota akaasaa. Sumirata hota dusaha dukha naasaa.
Triumphant cheers resound through the open skies; merely remembering you banishes unbearable suffering.
चरन पकरि कर जोरि मनावौं। यहि औसर अब केहि गोहरावौं॥
Charana pakari kara jori manaavau. Yahi ausara aba kehi goharaavau.
Clasping your holy feet with folded hands I plead; in this moment of vulnerability, to whom else could I call?
उठु उठु चलु तोहि राम दोहाई। पाँयन परौं कर जोरि मनाई॥
Uthu uthu chalu tohi Raama dohaaee. Paanyan parau kara jori manaaee.
Arise! Advance by the sacred honour of Lord Rama! I prostrate at your feet with folded hands in reverence.
ॐ चं चं चं चं चपल चलंता। ॐ हनु हनु हनु हनु हनुमंता॥
Om cham cham cham cham chapala chalantaa. Om hanu hanu hanu hanu Hanumantaa.
Om Cham Cham Cham Cham, moving with lightning speed! Om Hanu Hanu Hanu Hanu, valiant Hanuman!
ॐ हं हं हाँक देत कपि चंचल। ॐ सं सं सहमि पराने खल-दल॥
Om ham ham haanka deta kapi chanchala. Om sam sam sahami paraane khala-dala.
Om Ham Ham, the agile monkey hero roars loudly; Om Sam Sam, hearing it the armies of malice flee in dread.
अपने जन को तुरत उबारो। सुमिरत होय आनंद हमारो॥
Apane jana ko turata ubaaro. Sumirata hoya aananda hamaaro.
Liberate and protect your devotee at once; remembering your holy name brings boundless joy to our beings.
यहै बान सुमिरै मन लाही। ताके कारज सकल सिधाहीं॥
Yahai baana sumirai mana laahee. Taake kaaraja sakala sidhaaheen.
Whoever remembers this sacred Bajrang Baan with sincere contemplation, all their undertakings are triumphantly fulfilled.
यह बजरंग बाण जेहि मारे। ताहि कहो फिर कौन उबारे॥
Yaha Bajaranga Baana jehi maare. Taahi kaho phira kauna ubaare.
Against whomever this Bajrang Baan is invoked, say who in the three worlds could ever shield their malice?
पाठ करै बजरंग बाण की। हनुमत रक्षा करैं प्रान की॥
Paatha karai Bajaranga Baana kee. Hanumata rakshaa karain praana kee.
Whoever regularly recites this Bajrang Baan, Lord Hanuman personally guards their life and breath.
यह बजरंग बाण जो जापै। ताते भूत प्रेत सब कांपै॥
Yaha Bajaranga Baana jo jaapai. Taate bhoota preta saba kaanpai.
Whosoever chants this Bajrang Baan with unwavering heart, all fearful apparitions and afflictions tremble and depart.
धूप देय जो जपै हमेशा। ताके तन नहिं रहै कलेशा॥
Dhoopa deya jo japai hameshaa. Taake tana nahin rahai kaleshaa.
Offering pure incense and chanting with regularity, no sorrow or disease lingers in their body or home.
उर प्रतीति दृढ़, सरन ह्वै, पाठ करै धरि ध्यान। बाधा सब हर, करैं सब, काम सफल हनुमान॥
Ura prateeti dridha, sarana hvai, paatha karai dhari dhyaana. Baadhaa saba hara, karain saba, kaama saphala Hanumaan.
With deep faith in the heart, taking full refuge, whoever recites this with focused contemplation—Hanuman removes all obstacles and crowns all their noble works with success.
पवनतनय संकट हरन, मंगल मूरति रूप। राम लखन सीता सहित, हृदय बसहु सुर भूप॥
Pavana-tanaya sankata harana, mangala moorati roopa. Raama Lakhana Seetaa sahita, hridaya basahu sura bhoopa.
O Son of the Wind, dispeller of every calamity, embodiment of all blessings! Together with Shri Rama, Lakshmana and Mother Sita, forever reside within our hearts, O king among gods.
